Biodiversity degradation in mangrove ecosystems due to land-use changes threatens ecological functions and the sustainability of coastal economies. This study aims to analyze the relationship between biodiversity loss, ecosystem service value loss, and regional economic resilience in the East Coast Area of Surabaya (Pamurbaya). The study applies a quantitative approach based on secondary data using Geographic Information System (GIS), remote sensing analysis, Ecosystem Service Valuation (ESV), and Spatial Analysis using GIS and Remote Sensing. The results indicate that biodiversity decline increases ecosystem service value loss, which subsequently affects regional economic resilience. This study highlights the importance of biodiversity economic valuation as a foundation for sustainable mangrove management and strengthening coastal economic adaptation strategies.
