Abstract

Human resource resilience is a critical factor in supporting sustainable tourism development in rural tourism villages, particularly amid changing market demands, limited managerial capacity, and community-based tourism challenges. This study aims to analyze how human resource resilience contributes to sustainable tourism management in rural tourism villages. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation involving 12 informants, including tourism village managers, local community members, tourism awareness groups, and village officials. Data were analyzed using interactive analysis through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that adaptive skills, collaborative leadership, local knowledge, and continuous capacity building strengthen tourism resilience. The study concludes that resilient human resources enhance sustainable tourism governance and provide practical implications for community-based tourism development.
